Can someone help me with a Berlingo M59 Instrument cluster wiring diagram?

I am converting my van to an electric vehicle and I am trying to keep the Instrument cluster as is but I need to rewire some of the not needed things like oil light etc etc.

The friend helping me has asked for the instrument cluster pin outs so we can work it out.

Intermittent Radio

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what may be happening.

I have a 2004 2.0 HDI multispace with the standard CD radio installed. A few weeks ago I started the car but there was no sound. Everything was working as is should; display, steering column controls, cd eject etc - just no sound! About an hour later the sound returned! Since then, it has alternated between no sound and sound at random intervals and for random periods of time.

I suspected a fault with the radio CD and so obtained a replacement which was programmed to the Vin. No luck, the new unit behaved in exactly the same way as the old one!

Any ideas?  Smile

Ok so I have a 2.0 berlingo multispace ,
I've had the we van for a about 5 months now with no problems what so ever ,
i got it remapped from 90bhp to 125bhp when I first got it and it's been fine the whole 5 months I've owned it ,
Today I noticed that it went into limp mode for about 5 seconds after the traffic lights went green then it came out off it back to normal , then a couple minutes later the eml light came on but there was no limp mode ,
I got to the shops after shutting engine off and going to do a bit of shopping , hopped into van started engine , no eml and no limp mode , , all is back to normal ,

why did this happen today so I can get the problem fixed so it doesn't happen again ???

Thanks In advance

VIN decode?

Does anyone have info on how to decide the VIN from a Berlingo?

The online decoders I've found suggest my vehicle is a 2009 model - but it has an 04 plate, so I think the online decoders might not be right!  Dodgy

Good afternoon, my girlfriend has a 54 plate berlingo multispace 2.0 hdi and we have few questions if anyone can help.
The first is we have noticed a small diameter black rubber hose hanging down from infront of the sump visable looking from front of car, should this be hanging down or connected to something?

Secondly now and again we loose the blower inside the car it just stops working then all of a sudden come back to life bit tricky when windows steam up.

Lastly the engine management light intermitantly comes on then goes off after a day or so.

06' Multi space spark plug recommendations?

Hello all,

I have had my Berlingo now for 3 days and everything seems to be in good working order and running smooth, however, the previous owner is not sure on the life of the spark plugs, therefore I will be changing them.
Better safe than sorry.

I did a quick forum search to see if this topic has been covered, which I imagine it has, many times over.
However, I came up short and with little.

I would really appreciate any recommendations and help.

Thank you.

Engine not staying idle, air in fuel line

hi everybody hope you can help me into this, i bought a berlingo 1.6HDI in Nov last year then had to replace oil seals two times as the mechanic had not done it correctly, real problem started when i wen to change the fuel filter, i started losing power , takes time to start during the morning,

i recently change the gearbox, clutch & press, heater, common rail sensor, break and disk, alternator, oil cooler, starter all new

when cranking it takes a lot of time, did my fuel pump in timing belt need to be replace??

does that version of van has an in tank pump?

the prime pump has only air into it,  ( the prime pump is connected to the heater of the fuel filter) confirm me if it is good ?

due to it isn't starting at one go it is tiring the starter. please help am desperate in solving the issue

do the ECU need to be re coded  in order the diesel to be staying in pressure in the fuel lines ? Sad

the mechanics are taking too much money and not doing the work properly here.

I have 2 tiny holes right at the front that seep oil very slowly in my 2006 1.9D

New clutch or not ?

Hi guys

Probably been asked a thousand times but here goes MK 2 1.9 d with DW8 gearbox (I think)
Clutch pedal bites about 2cm off the floor, been like this ever since I bought her 2 years ago.
About a year ago it started having difficulty engaging gears when warmed up so changed the cable and she was good for about a week until the cable stretched a bit and then it was back to just off the floor and making a slight rumbling sound when dipped.

So do I need a new clutch even though it doesn't seem to slip (pulls like a train up hill in 5th) ?
Release bearing ?
Actuator arm ?
Or another cable ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as funds are a bit scarce at the moment and I don't want to spend a small fortune if it could be something simple

Inner wing fixings part numbers?

I have had to remove the offside front inner wing/mud guard on my 2004 berlingo multipspace forte 1.9 diesel. It was only held in by two screws at the front to the bumper and one plastic fixing towards the rear. I noticed that there are several holes which had no fixing - so I suspect some fixings have gone missing over the years. When I put the inner wing back in I want to make sure all the fixings are in place. Anyone know how many there should be and the relevant part numbers?

Thanks in advance..David

1.6 Hdi engine mounts (Mark 2)

Hi yeah,

My van seems to have broken an engine mount, sounds like that sort.of an issue anyway. So basically I was wondering where to start??

How many mounts are there and where are they positioned?? Is there any more prone to failure than others?? Can the all be removed and replaced easily enough??

Any comments greatly appreciated.

What is this connection for?

Struggling with EML (using lexia) - cant clear faults.

1.9D desire 04 plate berlingo multispace

Went for MOT - failed on horn not working. Garage hacked into the wiring and jimmy rigged a horn to get it through mot - they did ask me and i did give approval - i was offshore at the time and the wife needed the car so i wont grumble at them for it - i just expected something with a bit more class than what i got...but then its an old banger to them i guess.

might be conincidence but a week later the EML came on.

Threw lexia on it - came up with

perminant aerial fault ( i believe this is a phantom fault)
Intermittant fault - no perminant positive to the display
intermittant fault - airbag - light occasionally comes on when the seats moved back and forth - the standard french car dry connector.
No comms with injection though - which is annoying , even with my doorpost RPO it thinks i have a 1.4 petrol engine...... has anyone got a working RPO for a 1.9D ?

Ive reset them - the air bag faults not come back but the display fault comes back so does the aerial - and the EML never goes out.

Things ive done. -
  • Repaired the garages hack horn fix back to stock and the horn now works as designed.
  • Checked the earth at the horn and front wing as per rustacrats drawings.
  • Checked/cleaned the connections at the radio and the dash display.
  • cleaned up the underseat connector
  • Changed the display and radio for  known good ones (i have two of these cars so can swap parts for diag)
  • BSI reset
  • Scanning with a cheap ODB tool - as has previous alerted me to issues that lexia has missed. - but it wont even comm with the car this time !
Car drives fine , the display works as it should and holds the date - indicating there is a perminant positive...... radio works as it should.

the EMLs driving me nuts + the boy that cried wolf scenario of an actual fault being hidden behind the perminant EML

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Odometer fine but no speedo.

Hi,

1. Month ago I had some Type of sheet metal wrapped around the timing belt pullies which I removers. Not sure if the metal came of the van or picked up from the road. There has been a whirring noise ever since, not a problem but may be relevant to the problem.

2. The odometer displays but the speedo fails after the engine starts to warm up and the mileage doesn't change when the speedo dial fails. If I co 70mph+ the whole of the dials/warning light/odometer display goes blank.

3. Acceleration is a little abrupt when accelerating from low revs. This has become noticeable since the timing pully problem.

I'm thinking there may be some kind of sensor for the speedo I could check? Or the local wiring to it? Where would I find it?

Any ideas?

Thanks Lee.
